Perth Football Operations Manager Tyson Beattie has resigned from his role at the Club.

Beattie has taken up a position at West Coast as the Club's Partnership Manager, an opportunity Beattie said he couldn't say no to.

"The Eagles are an amazing organisation and it's a dream to get a job with them," Beattie said.

"It's really sad departing Perth but it's a really great and rare chance for me to get involved in an AFL club.

"I'll be in charge of dealing with their platinum and premium sponsors and partners."

Beattie will remain at Perth until February 3rd and his replacement is not yet known but the 36-year-old said the Club won't have any issues finding an appropriate candidate.

"There's some really good talent in the football industry for this type of role. I think Marty and the board will have plenty of really good options and they'll be able to find someone who'll really help with the direction the Club is going in," Beattie said.

Beattie has spent the past two years and three months at Perth and spoke highly of the support he's received over the journey.

"I just want to thank the supporters, members, the board, the players and Marty Atkins for the opportunity to get the role in the first place and for the support I've had throughout that time. I wish the Club all the best in the future and hopefully success on-field will be soon," Beattie said.
