Skill errors hand Falcons 19 point win

Monday, May 1, 2017 - 9:31 AM

Perth have recorded their fourth loss by under four goals this season, going down to West Perth 14.6 (90) to 15.19 (109) at HBF Arena on Saturday afternoon.

The young Demons side were in the contest all day, responding whenever West Perth threatened to take full control.

However it was basic skill errors that prevented Perth from getting on top, with the Falcons making them pay for several unforced turnovers going forward.

Brennan Stack was Perth's best, kicking seven goals straight from 14 possessions in an impressive display up forward.

Michael Sinclair had 29 disposals and used it well across half back in his second game back from an achillies injury.

Captain Clint Jones was again prolific, amassing 34 touches along with a goal.

Both Laine Wilkins (finger) and Laim McKenna (knee) sustained injuries during Saturday's loss and will undergo scans this week to determine the extent.
