Perth Football Club appoints new Talent Manager
The Perth Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Brodie Riach to the Talent Manager role.
Brodie started his sporting career in basketball that saw him travel to America and play in a number of tournaments across the US before being offered a full athletic scholarship to Sheridan College in Wyoming. However, before Brodie could take up this opportunity, he was offered a category B rookie contract with the West Coast Eagles and joined them mid-way through the 2018 season. At the conclusion of the contract Brodie signed to play for East Fremantle in season 2020, a season wrecked by covid. In 2021 Brodie moved to the Subiaco Football Club working in the role of District Officer, whilst also working for AFL Club Adelaide as a recruiting officer. In December 2021 Brodie accepted the position of Talent Manager at Perth Football Club.
Brodie will oversee all talent programs at the club and work with clubs in the Perth District to develop players within the zone.
"Working in the talent space is something of great interest to me and a job I take great pride in. To be able to fulfil these duties at a club like Perth, is a tremendous honour. Perth has a rich history and the people involved are what make it such a special place. I am extremely excited by the direction the Perth Football Club is heading." Riach said.
“The Perth Football Club are very pleased to secure Brodie in the role of Talent Manager. Brodie’s diverse experience as a player in elite programs in basketball, AFL and WAFL along with his educational background and work in the District Officer role with the WAFC has him ideally placed for the position.” CEO Russ Clark.
The club would like to thank Trevor Screaigh for his tireless work over recent seasons.
