"The oldest surviving WAFL League footballer has turned 100.

Bob Taylor celebrated the milestone today, March 5, with family and friends at Parkwood Retirement Village in Woodlands.

Taylor played for East Perth before the Second World War and then represented the Perth Football Club after the war.

Bob went on to umpire footy as a field, boundary and goal umpire.
