Club Legend Robert Wiley to Head Coach WAFLW

Club legend Rob Wiley will take the reins as Head Coach of our WAFLW side for the remainder of the 2025 season, as Jessica Sedunary has decided to return to Adelaide and prepare for the exciting arrival of her first child.
Rob is an Australian Football Hall of Famer and one of the club’s greatest ever players, he claimed an extraordinary eight Butcher Medals across his playing career. More recently, Rob has been part of the West Coast Eagles AFLW coaching staff, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge, elite-level experience, and a deep understanding of both the game and our club culture.
We are incredibly grateful to Jess, who has made a lasting impact during her time at the helm. In our inaugural WAFLW season, Jess helped guide the team to a historic first win – a moment that will live on in the club’s history books. Her leadership, care, and professionalism have laid a strong foundation for our women’s program, and we wish her all the very best for the exciting journey ahead into motherhood.
We’re thrilled to have someone of Rob’s calibre stepping into the role and look forward to what’s to come for our WAFLW team under his guidance.
