Jared Bell Appointed Chief Executive Officer of Perth Football Club
The Perth Football Club is pleased to confirm the appointment of Jared Bell as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Following a competitive national recruitment process that attracted more than 60 applicants, Bell steps into the position after serving as Interim CEO for the past six months. His appointment marks a significant moment in the Club’s journey as it looks ahead with renewed energy, stronger connections, and a clear focus on long-term success.
A former Perth player and lifelong Demon, Bell made his senior debut at just 18 years old and went on to play 46 league games, captaining the side once before injury ended his playing career prematurely. Over the past seven years, he has held senior roles in business development and partnerships at the Club, playing a key role in expanding its commercial footprint and deepening its community ties.
At just 29 years of age, Bell brings a modern, relationship-driven leadership style and a deep understanding of the Club’s culture and values.
Perth Football Club President Adrian Barich said the Board was unanimous in its decision to appoint Bell:
“Jared has shown exceptional leadership, professionalism, and care during his time as Interim CEO. He knows what this Club stands for, and he has a clear vision of where we need to go. We’re confident he’s the right person to lead Perth into its next era, a future that brings people together, drives sustained success.”
Bell’s appointment comes at a time of significant growth and transformation for the Club. The launch of Perth’s inaugural WAFLW team in 2025 represents a historic expansion of its football program, while the recent appointments of Mark Stone as Senior Coach and Brad Dodd as General Manager of Football form part of a broader strategy to elevate on-field performance.
Off the field, the Club remains focused on community engagement, strengthening long-term partnerships, and driving organisational improvement. A major facility redevelopment is also on the horizon, aiming to reinforce Perth’s standing within the WAFL and the wider football landscape.
Reflecting on his appointment, Bell said:
“Stepping into this role is both a great responsibility and an opportunity to lead meaningful change. My focus is on driving the Club forward, modernising how we operate and setting a new standard for success, both on and off the field.”
