WAFLW Head Coach Applications

The Perth Football Club is on the lookout for its next WAFLW Head Coach, following the departure of former coach Jess Sedunary, who has returned to Adelaide for the birth of her first child.

Jess joined the Club for the 2025 season and quickly brought great energy, experience, and care to our program. Although her time with us has been brief, her impact has been significant in shaping the foundation of our senior women’s team.

Following Jess’s departure, we were fortunate to have Club legend Rob Wiley step in to guide the program during the transitional period. Rob’s leadership, experience, and willingness to support the group ensured stability for our players while we commenced the search for a new permanent coach.

Following Jess’s departure, and Rob Wiley’s tenure in the interim role, the Club is now inviting applications for the WAFLW Head Coach role. This is a rare opportunity to lead our senior women’s program, work with a talented playing group, and help shape the future of women’s football at the Perth Football Club.

The successful candidate will bring strong communication skills, tactical football knowledge, and a genuine commitment to developing both the team and individual players. They will lead by example, foster a positive environment, and uphold the Club’s values both on and off the field.

We look forward to welcoming a new leader who will build on the foundations laid this season and take the program into its next phase of growth and success.
