Perth fell just two points short of a thrilling comeback on Saturday, going down to South Fremantle in a hard fought contest at Mineral Resources Park.
After trailing for much of the afternoon, the Demons produced a spirited final quarter fightback, outscoring the Bulldogs 2.1 to 1.1 in the last term to close the margin to just two points. Despite a frantic finish and several late opportunities, Perth was unable to find the go ahead score before the final siren.
