Boorloo Football Club produced a dominant second-half display on Saturday, defeating West Perth by 32 points at HIF Insurance Oval.
After a tight opening half in which Boorloo managed just one goal, the visitors came out firing after the main break, piling on seven second-half majors to claim an impressive 8.7 (55) to 3.5 (23) victory.
Player of the Match Amy Trindade led from the front with another outstanding midfield performance, collecting 23 disposals, five marks, five tackles and a goal. Her work around the contest helped Boorloo gain control after half time and set the tone for the remainder of the match.
The midfield brigade was superb, with Holly Britton finishing with a game-high 28 disposals, while Isabella Shannon continued her sensational season, gathering 26 disposals, seven inside 50s and two goals to provide both drive and scoreboard impact. Isla Baldwin (17 disposals and eight marks) was also influential around the ground, helping Boorloo control possession and maintain pressure throughout the afternoon.
