Scott Moore Appointed As Colts Coach
The Perth Football Club (PFC) is excited to announce Scott Moore as the club’s new colts coach for the next two seasons.
Scott has been a long-standing Talent program and Futures Head Coach over the past seven years and has always strived to create an environment where players can thrive.
After playing senior football for PFC, Scott made a seamless transition into coaching and became head coach of the Futures program in 2020. Current AFL players such as Logan McDonald, Nathan O’Driscoll, Devon Robertson and Zac Fisher have thrived under the tutelage of Scott during his time coaching PFC Talent Programs.
When asked about what he has enjoyed most since being a coach at the club, Scott expressed the excitement he feels about seeing the players he has coached get the best out of themselves. “I have enjoyed seeing the players develop an understanding of the game and teaching them how to apply themselves. From that, the rewards come,” said Scott.
“You’ve got to be clear, maintain a positive outlook, stay strong in your game plan and believe in the kids” said Scott, when asked about the key points of coaching.
PFC Talent Manager said Scott’s appointment is an example of how the club has created a genuine pathway for not only our players to develop, but our coaches also.
“It is important that as club we not only focus on the development of our players, but our coaches as well. Scott exemplifies the coaching pathway here at Perth and we are extremely pleased with what we feel he can bring to the colts program.”
