Round 9 Preview Perth vs East Fremantle
This week Perth travel to ATOM Stadium to take on East Fremantle.
Both teams are coming off wins last week with the Demons defeating Swan Districts by 41-points and the Sharks accounting for Subiaco by 80-points.
Perth got off to a fast start kicking four goals in the opening quarter to Swans two goals. The Demons lead at every stage and in what would please the coaches and supporters finally managed to put four quarters together.
East Fremantle had 12 individual goal kickers last week with Brett Peake and Josh Simpson both kicking three goals each.
The reserves won their second game of the season defeating Swans by 24-points. After being dropped last week Cody Leggett responded, collecting 31 possessions, 16 marks, three tackles and five I50’s. Rowan Brookes 27 disposals, 10 marks, six I50’s, Kurtis Chester 26 possessions, eight marks, Kieran Hug 24 disposal, nine marks, four tackles, four I50’s and a goal were others to impress and push their cases for a league call up.
In positive news for Perth, Dene White and Spencer White played reserves in their first game back from injury. Dene had 20 possessions while Spencer took seven marks and kicked two goals.
In the colts Perth continued their strong start to the season beating Swans by 20-points. The Demons sit atop of the table, two games clear of Claremont, Swan Districts and South Fremantle who are all on five wins.
Bounce down is 2:15pm, following Reserves at 11:30am and Colts at 9am.
