Round 12 Preview Perth vs Swan Districts
This week Perth travel to Steel Blue Oval to take on Swan Districts. With this weekend celebrating WA Day, this game will be played on a Monday.
Last week the Demons fought hard for three quarters but fell away in the last to go down to West Perth by 26-points while Swans lost by 80-points to Claremont.
One of Perth’s two wins this season came back in round eight when they last played Swan Districts. The Demons won that game by 41 points.
Both teams sit anchored to the bottom of the ladder with the Demons one win ahead of Swans in eighth position.
In the reserves Perth lost by 77-points last week while Swan Districts lost by 41 points.
Rowan Brookes was impressive with 30 possessions, 11 marks and seven tackles while Brad Keast 24 disposals, three marks, four tackles and Dylan Biggs (26 hitouts) who won the ruck duel against Chris Keunen were others to stand out. Jacob Payne (16 possessions) was solid in his first game of the season.
In the colts the Demons kicked eight goals to the Falcons two behinds after half time to win by 49-points and record their ninth straight victory of the season while Swans went down by 50 points.
Bounce down is 2:10pm, following Reserves at 11:25am and Colts at 8:55am.
