Third term nap costs Perth
A two goal to six third quarter saw Perth squander another strong start, with Subiaco running away 23-point victors on Saturday evening.
The Demons went into the half time break with an eight point lead, however a 15 minute third term purple patch from Subiaco gave them a three goal lead at the final change.
The 2016 grand finalists held on in the fourth, defeating a spirited Perth outfit 13.12 (90) to 10.7 (67).
Perth were again restricted to two men on the bench in the second half, with Brant Colledge (hamstring) and Anton Scotney (ribs) both going down in the second quarter.
2016 colt Kristian Morisey, who replaced the injured Michael Sinclair (achillies), performed strongly in his league debut amassing 14 disposals down back.
