PREVIEW: Round 16 v Subiaco
With round 16 in the WAFL being NAIDOC round, the Demons will travel to Leederville Oval to take on league leaders Subiaco.
This will be the third encounter between the two teams, with the last encounter being in round 12 with Subiaco being too strong on that occasion.
Perth are coming off a narrow defeat against Swan Districts, while the Lions haven't lost since round 1 and are easily the benchmark of the competition.
The young Demons will look to emulate the heroics of last year's NAIDOC round, where Perth managed to defeat the Lions in one of the most memorable victories of the past decade.
The Demons will be forced to make a few changes to this week's side due to injuries sustained by some crucial players.
Brant Colledge (hamstring), Devin McFarlane (cheekbone) and Mitch Browne (finger) will have to sit and watch from the grandstands on Saturday.
This will provide opportunity for a few players who have been performing consistently in the development side over the last few weeks.
Kristian Cary has had three weeks in the reserves and looks like he's completely over his knee injury and could come in to the top side this week.
Kurtis Chester and Taran Etto will be looked at, with Shaun Smith, Josh Burke and youngster Nic Taylor all pushing for selection.
Bouncedown for the league is at the regular time of 2:15pm, Development 11:30am and Colts 9am.
