PREVIEW: Round 18 v West Perth
The Demons return home to Lathlain Park this Saturday to take on West Perth for the first time since round 7.
The Falcons were too strong in the two teams only encounter in 2017, doing enough to win the game by 19 points.
Perth will be looking to bounce back from a tough game against East Fremantle and to gain some confidence leading into a bye next week. It will be a game with a lot to play for as both sides desperate to break lengthy losing streaks.
The round 18 game will also be Sandover Medallist Aidan Tropiano's 100th WAFL game.
Perth will be without excitement machine Cody Ninyette, who was suspended for two weeks for striking East Fremantle's Jesse Crichton.
However Devin McFarlane looks set to return after a few weeks off with a fractured cheekbone. Listen to Dr Tom Fairclough on DeeRadio discuss the potential return of the dashing half back.
Inside midfielders Kurtis Chester and Taran Etto have also put their hand up for selection after a number of weeks playing consistent football in the development side.
Liam Mckenna is another one who could be considered after a 30 possesion game in the reserves win against East Fremantle.
Andrew Panetta and his development side will be looking to further certify their finals credentials this week against West Perth. The reserves are currently sitting 3rd.
Andrew Ruck and his colts will be looking to play the conditions and back their ability leading into the end of the season.
Bouncedown for the League game is 2:15pm, Development 11:30am and Colts 9:00am
