Round 1 Preview vs Swans
The Demons will be looking to kickstart their 2018 campaign with a win on Saturday when they host Swan Districts in the opening round of the WAFL season.
Both sides will be going into Saturday’s season opener with a win and a loss each from their two preseason games.
Perth could have up to eight fresh faces in Saturday’s lineup, with Corey Yeo (Williamstown), Richie Bourne Jnr (East Fremantle), Mitch Lague (East Perth), Ben Giobbi (Casey), Luke Salamone (Trinity Aquinas), Redmond Dobson (Trinity Aquinas), Matt Taylor (North Melbourne) and Cal Collard (Centrals) all being fit and available after impressive preseasons.
Also available for selection this week will be Spencer White, Cody Leggett, Sam Garstone and Lachie Dennis who all missed the majority of last season through injury.
A strong rivalary exists between the Demons and Swan Districts and Saturday’s match is set to be a very competetive and entertaining one.
It’s Family Day at Lathlain Park so there will be plenty happening around the ground all afternoon.
Teams will be announced here Thursday evening from 6pm.
League bounce down is 2:15pm, Reserves 11:30am and Colts 9am.
The 2018 Player Auction will be held upstairs in the Main Hall following the League game and all are welcome.
