Merry Christmas from the Perth Football Club
Dear Members, Sponsors & Supporters,
On behalf of everyone at the Perth Football Club (PFC) I would like to thank you for your support throughout the 2018 season. It was a year that saw the club consolidate its financial position with a small profit, a year where we continue to have positive engagement in the community, and a year where our Football Department gave us so many highlights, with big expectations in 2019.
Before we get to 2019, we have a wonderful festive season to look forward to and I hope this period allows you to spend time with family and friends that produces fun and laughter, leading to memories that last a life time.
Unfortunately the Christmas period can be hard time for many. In light of a recent incident involving an AFL player and our very own Brett Caudius I would personally like to remind all our playing group of our partnership with ‘Outside The Locker Room’. We urge all our players and football department staff who may experience difficult times to reach out to OTLR. Help is available, with the PFC committed to further support whenever required.
This message is also a reminder to everyone who is involved in the club, whether as a sponsor or a supporter. If you find yourself experience difficulties, help is also available through Lifeline and OTLR. Lifeline's contact number is 13 11 14.
The OTLR app is available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
2019 marks the 120th anniversary of the Perth Football Club – a wonderful achievement for the club. We would like to invite you to join with us in our celebrations by joining as a member, attending a game or supporting the Club as a volunteer. Throughout the year, we will have many opportunities for the Perth Football Club community to celebrate with us.
The PFC office will be closed from 2pm on Friday 21 December and reopen at 9am on Wednesday 9 January 2019. If you need to contact the Club in the event of an emergency, please email me directly - marty@perthdemons.com.au.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Kind regards,
Marty Atkins
