Greg Dart & Wayne Koch Awarded PP&OA Life Memberships

At the recent Annual General meeting of our Past Players & Officials Association (PP&OA) two Club stalwarts were deservedly awarded Life Membership of the Association.

Wayne Koch and Greg Dart have both been committee members since 2007/2008 and have contributed greatly to the ongoing successful operation of the PP&OA. Wayne has been President since 2011, while Greg served for a period of six years as a Vice-President and also has taken on the role of Secretary from 2018.

Both Wayne and Greg have taken leading roles in all social and fundraising activities of the Association from the time they first joined the committee. From organising match day arrangements to functions such as former player reunions, AFL Grand Final days, quiz nights, match day raffles, etc, both have been and continue to be at the forefront.

In addition to their many duties Wayne and Greg are also major players in the ongoing upkeep of the History Centre which, in itself, is a time-consuming activity.

Certainly the members at the AGM had no hesitation in endorsing both men for Life Membership  honours.

As a matter of interest, the History Centre is normally manned for a few hours each Thursday. Anyone wishing to view the extensive items in the Centre, or who may have memorabilia to loan or donate, can make arrangements to do so by emailing pastplayers@perthdemons.com.au.
