CEO Marty Atkins Resigns
Written by Bob Shields
Perth Football Club Legend, Premiership Player and former Captain Brian Cook (187 games) will lead a Selection Team charged with selecting a General Manager to replace CEO Marty Atkins, who resigned today.
Cook will also helm a panel of Past Perth Players and Officials who will maintain a steady hand on the PFC Administration during this changeover period.
Perth Club President Bob Shields said the Club had been working with Mr Atkins to transition into a new role, but this was not possible-and he today accepted his resignation.
“It’s been a difficult time for all, and we know that Marty has strong skills, especially in the area of Community Development” said Shields.
“I have no doubt that Marty will remain in Football, and Perth thanks him for seven years service, and we wish him well.”
