Macmahon join Perth to deliver football clinics in local schools

The Perth Football Club and Macmahon have joined forces to deliver football clinics to schools within the Perth District.

Macmahon are proud supporters of grassroots community sporting initiatives and saw a unique opportunity to unite with Perth as our “Schools Program Partner.”

Last year Perth ran football clinics in 10 local schools, and through this partnership we will be able to increase this significantly, running clinics in more than 20 schools throughout the 2020 season.

On the program, Perth’s Partnership Manager Jared Bell stated, “It is part of our responsibility as a WAFL Club to support our local community, and this program is one of the ways we will be doing that this year.”

About the Clinics

Perth Football Club school clinics are run by two or more Perth Football Club players and our local District staff.

Involving up to 30 children at a time, clinics go for 30 minutes per group and involve:

• Warm up
• An age-appropriate skill session
• Scratch match

All children who participate in the program receive:

• Junior 2020 membership
• Free game passes
• Giveaways and prizes!
