Colts 2020 Leadership Group
The Perth Football Club would like to announce the 2020 Colts Leadership group.
Congratulations to Zak, Ben, Conor, Nathan and Jack on being named in the Colts Leadership Group.
Left to right: Jack Evans, Nathan O'Driscoll, Zac Meloncelli, Conor McPartland & Ben Casey
Captain
Zak Meloncelli
Natural leader who peers elected due to the example he sets at training and the standards he drives. Zak lives locally and came to the club from the Belmont/Redcliffe Junior Club into the Colts program. He has worked hard and significantly developed his football over the past 12 months. Congratulations on being named Captain, Zac. We look forward to seeing you lead the team.
Vice Captains
Ben Casey
Recruited from Northam, Ben has an older brother in the senior program at the club. He works hard on the track and field, is a great vocal leader and creates a lot of fun within the group .
Conor McPartland
Recruited mid-way through the 2019 season, Conor unfortunately injured his ankle in first week at the Club. This year, he has had a huge pre-season showing a great work rate. Conor lets his actions do the talking.
Deputy Vice Captains
Nathan O’Driscoll
Another Northam recruit, Nathan stands apart with outstanding leadership qualities. He leads by example and provides a lot of energy to the playing group. Nathan is also currently in the State Program.
Jack Evans
Jack has put in an impressive summer of hard work in the gym and on the running track, which has lead to huge steps with his footy. After a pre-season with the Colts last year, he went back to develop some areas of his game in the Futures program before re-joining the Colts to play several games by the end of the season, providing a great example to other aspiring young footballers.
The Colts will play their first game of the 2020 Season this Saturday when Perth take on Peel at David Grays Arena.
