A letter from Bob Shields, Club President

Dear Members, Supporters and Sponsors of the Perth Football Club,

On behalf of the Club’s Board of Directors I am writing to you today to update you on the Club’s progress through the COVID pandemic, and humbly request your continued support.

The 2020 season has seen our League side start 2 – 0; an exciting way to begin a highly anticipated season. Marquee recruit Chris Masten and permit players Fraser McInnes, Brady Grey and Andrew Fisher have certainly bolstered our list, while young-gun Logan McDonald has attracted nation-wide attention. Christian Eyres has played his 100^th game, and the side is in good form. I can honestly say it is a great time to be a supporter of Perth.

We next play at our home ground, Mineral Resources Park, on Saturday August 15, hosting West Perth. All ‘Perth People’ are encouraged to join us; let’s make the ground a sea of red and black as we cheer on the mighty Redlegs.

Off-field, we are making strong financial progress given the current economic climate. This is due to loyalty of our members, partners and supporters. The Club is thankful for this and all you do.

As many of you will be aware, we hold an annual Gala Auction. This event raises essential funds, with 100% of money raised poured directly into the Club.

Due to the current situation, in 2020 we will only be holding an online auction. This auction’s success relies on the support of partners, sponsors and donors. We understand it has been a difficult year for many and appreciate this may make it difficult to donate in the manner your family or business normally would. We appreciate anything you can do.

If you are in a position to make a donation, please fill out the attached form as confirmation of your commitment. A donation can take form of an item from your company, or a financial donation towards purchase of an item. Please complete and return this form at your earliest convenience so we can give your support the highest level of acknowledgement possible.
