MEET THE RECRUITS
The Perth Football Club is delighted to introduce our new players for 2021 and beyond.
Joshua Smith
Age: 26
Height: 181cm
Weight: 76kg
Position: Outside mid/halfback
Recruited from: Collingwood/West Coast Eagles
Having started his AFL career with Collingwood, playing 32games, Josh was drafted to WCE in 2018. After the 1 season with West Coast Eagles he returned home to Victoria. We are very excited by the prospect of Josh returning to the WAFL and playing with the Perth Foorball Club. An elite runner and user of the ball, he is a great acquisition to our midfield.
Doulton Langlands
Age: 21
Height: 188cm
Weight: 83kg
Position: Inside Midfielder
Recruited from: St Kilda
Perth Football Club welcomes Doulton from St Patricks FC in Albury, same hometown as Kristian Cary. Doulton was recruited to St Kilda in 2018 rookie draft. Doulton strengths are his ball winning ability around clearances and his power running. These qualities will be very valuable on the larger grounds in the WAFL and we look forward to his impact on the competition.
Cameron Loersch

Height: 203cm
Weight: 99kg
Position: Forward / Ruck
Recruited from: East Fremantle
Cameron has been recruited to play as a key forward with some time in the ruck. Originally from the Peel Thunder Football Club, Loersch switched to South Fremantle to play colts in 2014. Loersch was drafted to the Gold Coast Suns with pick 53 in the 2015 Rookie Draft, before returning to WA in 2018 to play for the East Fremantle Football Club winning the leading goal kicker award in that season.
Oscar Bird

Recruited from: Claremont.
Clark joins Perth Football Club from the Claremont Tigers. He played in the 2019 Claremont Colts Premiership and was named in the team of the year. In 2019 Clark finished 4th in the Jack Clarke Medal (WAFL Colts) after only playing twelve games due to breaking his wrist. A versatile player who can play back mid-field or forward.

Originally from the North Albany Football Club, Hitchcock arrives at Mineral Resources Park from the Claremont Football Club.
