Hungry Jack's Partnership Continues to grow

Monday, May 24, 2021 - 1:17 PM

The Perth Football Club are pleased to announce a new partnership with Hungry Jack's.

Perth Football Club is currently in the third year of our five-year agreement with Hungry Jack's and incredibly proud to further extend our partnership with the full funding of a new Community Engagement Manager.

The Perth Football Club has a clear vision of its future and a strong commitment to becoming a thriving and successful community destination. The Club currently has a number of community development programs that address areas, ranging from youth leadership, indigenous engagement to football-based programs. All of these programs are at different stages of delivery.

The funding of this new role allows the Perth Football Club the ability to successfully coordinate and deliver these programs and continue to expand the Club's reach within both the Club's metro and regional zones.

"These partnership opportunities are vital to the sustainability of the Perth Football Club. The funding of this new Community Engagement Manager role is a significant step forward in our community engagement.  It was an excellent opportunity to meet the founder of Hungry Jacks, Jack Cowin when he was in Perth celebrating the 50th anniversary of his first W.A store in Innaloo.  I would like to thank Jack, but importantly Sam Morton (Hungry Jack's W.A. General Manager), who has been the key driver in this partnership.Jared Bell

Key Programs included.

  • Delivering our Macmahon schools program to both primary and high school's students in our metro and regional zone.
  • Delivering our regional satellite training programs, located in three of our major country towns (Northam, Moora and Mingenew.)
  • Regional education program through Fugro.
  • Working Collaboratively with our Aboriginal Engagement Officer Brady Grey.
  • Continue to build our relationship with the Town of Victoria Park.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Fraser McInnes to this new role. Fraser, Co-Captain and 2020 Butcher Medallist is a perfect fit. Fraser has previous experience in community engagement during his time at the West Coat Eagles. Fraser has grown up and lived within the Perth Football Club District and has a great understanding of the Perth Football Club zone.

"I view the role of great importance into giving back to our local community. We are a community club in nature having metro and regional zones. Being able to grow our brand and give back to the community is a great step forward into the sustainability of this club. Targeting disserviced youth within our catchment areas by using football as a vehicle to engage and reach these groups is a key outcome as a football club we wish to target". McInnes said.

If you would like to partner with the Perth Football Club and align to one of our community engagement programs, please contact the club on 9362 4499.
