Speculation over a change to the relationship of the Perth Football Club with AFL club the West Coast Eagles is at this stage premature.

The Board of Perth Football Club continually canvases options to grow and strengthen the Club and that involves discussions on a range of matters including access to players and other opportunities.

It is the role of the Board to look carefully at all options and we will, as always, discuss and present any viable opportunities to the Club and its Members for consideration.

WA Football league clubs have in the past entertained a range of opportunities for links with AFL clubs and these options require due deliberation to ensure positive benefits for our players, members and staff into the future.

Perth Football Club has a long and proud history. The best interests of the Club and our Members guide the Board, and we will provide updates on opportunities as they arise.
