Community Update: Schools and Junior Football
With the football season fast approaching, the Perth Football Club are relishing the opportunity to immerse ourselves in our community in 2022.
Mcmahon Schools Clinic
Last week, the Perth Football Club had the opportunity to travel to Northam Primary School for their first regional Mcmahon Schools Clinic for the year. The program was received with great enthusiasm by the year five and six students, who enjoyed developing new skills, playing games, and were lucky enough to take home some Perth Football Club merchandise. The Mcmahon Schools Clinic is a 45-minute session that promotes an active lifestyle, teaches new skills, and encourages kids to be involved in team sports.
As always, we would like to thank Mcmahon for their ongoing support – which the school’s program could not be delivered without. If you or your school would like to be involved in a clinic run by the Perth Football Club, you can contact our Community Engagement Manager at cem@perthfc.com.au
Junior Football Clubs
While Perth is preparing for their season ahead, so too are all the junior football clubs in our zone. Many of our junior clubs had their registration days over the weekend, including the Belmont Bombers who were lucky enough to be paid a visit by former player and current Perth midfielder, Brodie Gray.
