Mayne signs on to play for 2022
Chris Mayne has signed on to play for Season 2022.
In a huge boost for Round 1, Chris has committed to pulling on the boots for the WAFL Season, wearing number 48, the original number he wore before being drafted in 2007.
Chris has made the decision to play on after his 248 games at AFL level.
Originally returning to the club in a coaching capacity, Chris felt he could still add value on the ground given recent changes to the playing list.
Football Manager Trevor Williams said “The value of Chris playing is immense and we’re looking forward to him passing his knowledge to our younger playing group, on and off the field. This will further add to his coaching role.”
“I’m excited to be back where it all began, wearing number 48 and assisting the playing group push for success.” Mayne said.
