Three players selected in the 2022 State Squad
Fraser McInnes, Corey Byrne and Brayden Ainsworth have been selected in the 2022 Kia Australia WAFL State Squad.
Football Manager, Trevor Williams “The early season form, including pre-season games, of Fraser McInnes, Corey Byrne and Brayden Ainsworth has been recognised by the State selectors. Hopefully they will continue their good form in coming weeks and get the opportunity to represent their state.”
The selection adds to Byrne and Ainsworth’s inclusion to the West Coast Eagles top up player list, with Ainsworth playing a game for West Coast. Fraser's addidtion bringing some experience to the squad.
Perth Head Coach, Garry Moss also joins the State Team as an Assistant Coach, taking the forward line.
