Diamond Fitness - High-Performance Partner
Perth Football Club is pleased to announce Diamond Fitness as High-Performance partner.
The partnership will see the high-performance staff at Diamond Fitness structure and oversee the Strength and Conditioning (S+C) components for the Club’s Senior, Colts, and Female programs in 2023.
The new S+C Partnership model will provide access to performance management, sport science testing supported by VALD, athlete education workshops, and access to all Diamond facilities including the recovery centre featuring cold therapy tubs and a sauna. In addition to these on-field components, Diamond will also provide an education pathway for Perth Football Club Colts and Rogers Cup players through the Diamond VET Certificate and Diploma programs.
Perth Football Club Senior Football Operations Manager, Trevor Williams said the new strength and conditioning program partnership will help elevate the Club's senior, colts, and female programs to a level that will allow us to physically compete against other clubs across the WAFL competition.
“As a market leader in the industry of sport science here in Western Australia, we are extremely excited by what we as a football club can achieve in partnership with Diamond Fitness,” Williams said.
Diamond Fitness Director Dean White expressed what an exciting opportunity partnering with the Perth Football Club would bring to Diamond Fitness.
"We are excited to get to work! Our focus is always on creating great athletes who are also great people and after speaking with Brodie, Trevor and Peter it was clear they were aligned in this belief. We want to ingrain ourselves in the Club and support the continued efforts to build the high-performance culture that is required for success at WAFL-level football,” White said.
The partnership will also see programs within the Perth Football Club talent pathway have access to the high-performance resources and benefits that Diamond Fitness is capable of offering.
