Football Manager – Perth Football Club
The Perth Football Club is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants for the above position.
This key role within the Perth Football Club manages the male senior program and oversees the Talent Manager and Female Football Operations Manager.
To be considered for this role, you will need some experience managing football programs, coaches, both paid and volunteer staff and possess outstanding communication and leadership skills. Previous experience in the WAFL or similar state league competitions is desirable but not essential.
Suitable applicants will possess;
People Management & Planning:

Capacity to effectively manage athletes and staff

Ability to lead and influence within a senior club environment

Demonstrate structured and sequential planning program within a football season

Ability to establish a culture of respect, continuous improvement and high-performance

Ability to establish and achieve team and individual goals

Capacity to teach/educate/mentor/facilitate people of all abilities and ages
Football Knowledge:
-
Strong knowledge of the WAFL competition

Sound understanding of skill development learning strategies

Sound knowledge of the football structure in WA
Financial Knowledge
-
Proven experience in setting and managing budgets.
Effective Communication:
-
High level of various communication skills (verbal, written etc)
Qualification:

Preferred AFL Level 2 coach accreditation, Level 1 accreditation a minimum
