By sponsoring a player you pay the players fees and assist with medical expenses, but you also invest an interest in how the player is going, hoping that they have a good year both on and off the field. Players certainly appreciate the sponsorhsip and in doing so, become interested in you, and where able promot you and/or your business to others.
