Perth vs Claremont Game Preview
Written By: Andrew Owen
After more than a month away, this weekend Perth returns to Brownes Stadium for the round 23 encounter with Claremont.
In what is sure to be a great day of football, we encourage all the Demons faithful to get down and support the boys this Saturday.
Colts 9:05am – Brownes Stadium
Last week Perth won their eleventh game in a row when they defeated East Perth by 13-points while Claremont had a comfortable 118-point win against Swan Districts.
The last time these two teams played the Tigers were too strong for the Demons, winning by 46-points.
This game is sure to go down to the wire with Perth sitting third on the ladder and Claremont three games clear at the top of the table.
Reserves 11:35am – Brownes Stadium
Last week Perth lost their third game in a row when they went down by 21-points to East Perth while Claremont won a close encounter by nine-points against Swan Districts.
The last game between these two sides was a nail bitter with the Demons snatching a one-point victory.
Despite Perth’s form slump over the last three games they still remain top of the table and will be looking to get back on the winners list when they take on seventh placed Claremont this Saturday.
League 2:05pm – Brownes Stadium
A second half fade out cost Perth last week when they went down by 48-points to East Perth. Claremont continued on their winning ways when they easily accounted for Swan Districts to the tune of 59-points.
Claremont won a close game the last time these two teams met when a late goal to Paul Medhurst gave them a five-point victory.
With Perth still sixth on the ladder they will be looking to cause a major upset when they play the top of the table Tigers.
