DEMONS FINALS RESULTS
By Mark Thornber
Both Perth’s Colts and Reserves teams lost their finals matches at Steel Blue Oval on Sunday paying the price for poor first quarters.
The Reserves, who finished the season on top of the ladder, narrowly lost to South Fremantle in the Second Semi Final by 5 points after coming back well in the final term kicking 5 goals to 2.
Best players for the Reserves included Jarrad Irons, Matthew Hunt and Kieran Hug with Joel Houghton booting 3 goals in the forward line. Next week the Reserves will play West Perth in the Preliminary Final with the winner to play the Bulldogs in the Grand Final.
The Colts after enjoying an excellent second half of the season bowed out to Subiaco in the First Semi Final losing to the Lions by 52 points after conceding 9 goals in the first quarter.
Better players for the Colts were Brent Edmonds and Scott Doncon.
