Perth District welcomes new Development Officer

Perth District welcomes new DO Bruce Fraser on board.

Bruce comes to us with a strong education background having worked as a teacher and in principal roles for around 20 years, holding his Bachelor of Education (1997): Curtin University and Diploma of Teaching (1986): Western Australian College of Advanced Education. He also took a break from teaching in 2009-10 where he worked in local government for Armadale & Cockburn as a Club/Recreation Development Officer.

Bruce also has a strong background in coaching across Netball (Level 2 1997), Cricket and Football (Level 2 2007) coaching both local club and development squads at East Fremantle, South Fremantle and most recently Perth and has served as Perth District as Coach Co-ordinator over the past 3 seasons so has a strong knowledge of the District.

Bruce will be looking after the following portfolios within the district including;

• Junior Competition Council
• Coach Education
• Female football & pathways
• Auskick
• School programs
