Brian Cook Club Legend 2014
Written By: Andrew Owen
The Perth Football Club is pleased to announce that former captain and premiership player, Brian Cook, will be the Club’s Legend for the 2014 season.
Cook played 187 games for the Demons, kicking 24 goals, in a career that started in 1971.
He played at centre half back in the 1976 and 1977 premierships and was described by then coach Ken Armstrong as a very good, reliable key position player.
In 1980 Cook won the best and fairest and in 1981 was club captain.
After a stellar playing career that included five appearances for Western Australia, Cook hung up the boots at the end of 1982.
Congratulations to Brian Cook on being awarded “Club Legend” for 2014.
