Eagles Visit Vic Park Raiders
This week the Victoria Park Raiders Junior Football Club were visited by West Coast Eagle players Scott Lycett, Sharrod Wellingham, Dom Sheed, Adam Carter and newly appointed Perth Development Officer Chris Brown.
The Raiders players were split into groups for the night performing various training drills. This allowed the Eagles players to get around to all the groups and give them advice on how to improve their skills.
Scott Lycett also took some drills with Lennon Marlin’s Raiders team. Lennon is currently a Perth colt’s player and played juniors for Vic Park.
After the training session the Eagles players took a stretching session as well as posing for photos and there was also an opportunity for mums, dads and kids to get there guernsey’s signed.
Perth Development Officer Chris Brown said “everyone had a really great time and the kids were excited to meet some of their heroes and pick up pointers on how to be better players.”
