Auskick Gala Day

On Saturday the 28th of June the Demons District hosted the Auskick Gala Day for the first time here at Lathlain Park.

The bright and early start didn’t bother the young players and their families as very healthy crowd for the first bounce at 8am.

There were eight fields of games running all the way through to 2.30pm with great representation from all district clubs across the day.

The great thing about the gala day is that kids get to experience the thrill of playing on the famous Lathlain Park against sides they don’t get to see during the year.

To top off the day we were lucky enough to have perfect sunshine.  It was a great event with plenty of parents and kids enjoying a day of quality Auskick footy with plenty of future stars on display, as they say it really is the little big time!
