WHITE CLAIMS FIRST BUTCHER MEDAL
Hardworking midfielder Dene White capped an outstanding individual season on Friday night when he won his first Butcher Medal in Perth’s Fairest & Best Count with 122 votes.
The reliable onballer enjoyed an outstanding season to develop into one of the best midfielders in the completion. White played all 20 matches during the season and finished with 462 possessions.
Captain Paul Bevan was second with 99 votes and defender Michael Sinclair third with 81 votes. The night also saw the retirements announced of Bevan, who is returning to Sydney after three years as well as sharp shooter Matthew Moody, Nick Kane, Brad Fry and Jared Risol.

Ron Tucker Award (Leading Goal Kicker) – Callum Collard;
Doug Buckingham Memorial Award (Most Outstanding Junior) – Clem Smith;

Development Squad Redlegs 1% Award – Ryan Gray;
Colts Best Player Award – Kayle Phillips;
Colts Runner Up – Jared Bell;
Spirt of Colts Award – Joel Hooper;
Clint Wheeldon a well-known Demons fan from ABC 720 did a wonderful job as Master of Ceremonies with Marty Atkins, the Club CEO providing an update in relation to the pending announcement of the new Coach, which is expected shortly.
