Round 7 Preview Perth V Subiaco
![](https://media.wafc.com.au/web/article/n45a5ybv57q4_250.jpg)
Perth will be looking to atone this weekend against Subiaco after a disappointing performance last weekend against East Perth.
The Demons were no match for the Royals who dominated for majority of the game, eventually winning by 103-points.
Aidan Tropiano (38 possessions, 3 marks, 3 tackles), Liam McKenna (32 disposals, 7 marks, 5 I50’s), Jared Bell (21 possessions, 4 marks), Brent Wolfenden (19 disposals, 3 marks, 4 tackles, 3 I50’s), and Dene White (15 possessions, 3 marks, 3 tackles, 3 I50’s, 3 goals) were players that tried hard all day in difficult circumstances.
The Perth cause was not helped with Joel Kalajzic (face), Daniel O’Sullivan (ribs) and Michael Sinclair (knee) all suffering injuries which meant they could take no further part in the game. Sinclair in particular was having a good game in his run with role on Brant Colledge, keeping him to just 16 disposals. Colledge had been averaging 29 possessions in his four games this season. There are also injury clouds surrounding White and Brennan Stack who appeared to hurt their ankles during the game.
Perth (reserves) notched up their third win of the season defeating East Perth (reserves) by 62-points last weekend.
With the injuries sustained by the league side, Mitchell Browne (27 disposals, 7 marks, 3 tackles, 5 I50’s), Ashley Boyes (27 possessions, 8 marks, 3 tackles, 6 I50’s, 2 goals), Brent Edmonds, (19 disposals, 4 marks, 4 I50’s), Rowan Garlett (18 possessions, 7 marks, 3 I50’s) and Jarryd Morton (18 disposals, 10 marks, 7 goals) could all be in line for a recall to the main side this weekend after impressing against the Royals.
Perth (colts) also won their third game of the season winning by 40-points against East Perth (colts).
Corey Byrne (27 possessions, 5 marks, 8 tackles, 5 I50’s, 1 goal), Chapman Jones (27 disposals, 4 I50’s), Kayle Phillips (25 possessions, 7 marks, 4 tackles, 1 goal), Cody Ninyette (21 disposals, 3 tackles, 6 I50’s) and Marshall Jones (21 possessions, 7 marks, 3 I50’s, 3 goals) were all impressive in the victory.
The Demons are at Lathlain Park again this week with the colts getting underway at 9am, the reserves at 11:30am and the league game at 2:15pm.
