Round 10 Preview Perth V Swan Districts
This week Perth travel to Steel Blue Oval to take on Swan Districts.
Back in round one when these two teams last met the Demons went down by 96-points and will be looking for a better performance come Saturday.
Perth will have to be wary of Ryan Davis who won the Simpson Medal in the State Game last week. Davis collected 25 possessions, 8 marks, 10 I50’s and kicked 5 goals in a best on ground performance.
Perth has been slowly improving over the last couple of weeks and should be refreshed having not played a competitive match in three weeks. Swans on the other hand have lost four of their last five games and currently find themselves in sixth position on the ladder.
Perth (reserves) also suffered defeat when they played Swans (reserves) back in round one, losing by 50-points. Both teams have won four games this season and only percentage splits them on the ladder with the Demons in fifth and Swans in sixth.
Perth (colts) lost by 35-points the last time they played Swans (colts). The Demons find themselves in sixth position on the ladder, one game and percentage out of the top five while Swan Districts are in second place.
The colts kick off the action at 9am with the reserves getting underway at 11:30am and the league game starting at 2:15pm.
